Licensing Information

After the trial period, you have to choose which license you wish to use.

intraVnews 1.2 is free for personal use within charities and other non-profit organizations.

• If you wish to use intraVnews on a PC owned by the company or government you work for, a license must be purchased.
• Priority Email support is provided only to those who have purchased a license.

Licensing and Activation Modes

1. Trial Mode
   
   • Free.
   • Download and try for free on any PC.
   • Full functionality.
   • 30 day time limit.
   • No nag screens.
   • No activation required.
   • License Agreement Section A applies.
   The trial mode allows you to evaluate intraVnews with all its functionality for up to 30 days without the need to register. There are no feature limitations during the trial period.



2. Personal License
   • Free.
   • Personal Use, Charities, Non-Profit, Academic.
   • Full functionality.
   • No expiration. No nag screens.
   • Activation code required. Registration is free. Get your code here.
   • Peer support via online forums
   • License Agreement Section B applies.
   When you activate intraVnews you can use all its functionality without a time limit or nag screens.
   Note: This mode is not allowed on corporate- or government owned PC. To use intraVnews on a company or government PC, you need to purchase a Standard License.
   
   
3. Standard License
   • Activation & purchase of activation code required.
   • Use on company PC, in Government.
   • Full functionality.
   • No expiration.
   • Priority Email support
   • Discounts on major updates (2.0, 3.0, etc.)
   • Free minor updates (1.3, 1.4 etc.)
   • License Agreement Section C applies.
   Register for an additional personal license if you wish to activate intraVnews on non-company or non-government PC(s).
   
   
4. Limited License (Trial Mode expired)
• Free.
• Use on any PC.
• Reduced functionality: Max 10 feeds.
• You can not post to your blog.
• No support for secure feeds
• Peer support via online forums.
• Nag screens.
• Activate any time by purchasing a Standard License.
• License Agreement Section D applies.

How to activate intraVnews

In order to activate intraVnews, an activation code is required. See above which activation mode applies to you.

Once you've purchased a license for use on a company PC or requested a free license for personal use, you will receive an activation code via email. When purchasing, you will receive your code once payment has been received.

To activate intraVnews:

1. Open the Licensing dialog from the Help menu.
2. Click the Activate tab.
3. Type or paste the activation code.
4. Press Enter or click the Activate button.
5. The activation server is contacted. If the activation code is valid, your details will be retrieved and intraVnews will be activated.

Note:

• During activation, no personal information is sent to the activation server.
• You can use your activation code to activate intraVnews on any PC that you use personally.
