License 1.12

This License Agreement applies to the 1.12 version of intraVnews.

By using, copying, transmitting, distributing or installing intraVnews 1.12 ("intraVnews"), you agree to all of the terms of this License Agreement.

Please read the license terms below. If you do not agree to all of the terms of this Agreement, then do not use, copy, transmit, distribute, or install intraVnews.

Scope of License Agreement

This software is subject to different Licensing Modes. You can use this software without violating this agreement by activating one of four Licensing Modes: Trial, Personal, Standard or Limited. The terms of the Licensing Modes are set forth in Section A, Section B, Section C and Section D. When you install intraVnews for the first time on any PC, this software is automatically in Trial Mode, and the rules in Section A apply.

You are specifically prohibited from selling, sublicensing, renting, leasing or requesting donations for any copies, however made, and from distributing such copies with other products of any kind, commercial or otherwise, without prior written permission from FutureGlue. You are also prohibited from modifying, translating, decompiling, disassembling, reverse engineering or creating derivative works based on, intraVnews. You may not make access to intraVnews available to others in connection with a service bureau, application service provider, or similar business.

All rights of any kind in intraVnews which are not expressly granted in this License Agreement are entirely and exclusively reserved to and by FutureGlue. FutureGlue reserves the right to revoke the above rights at any time, for any or no reason.

Section A

This software is absolutely free to use for 30 days ("Trial Period"). During the Trial Period, you are using the software in Trial Mode according to the rules in Section A (this section).

You may use intraVnews for a period of 30 days for evaluation purposes. At the end of 30 days, the Trial Period will expire and certain features of intraVnews will be disabled. At this time you are required to choose one of three Licensing Modes: Personal Mode, Standard Mode or Limited Mode. If you do not agree with the terms in Section B, Section C or Section D, you must uninstall intraVnews.

After the Trial Period has expired, this software may not be installed again on the same computer, unless you agree with the terms in Section B, Section C or Section D. In other words, Section A can only be applied for 30 days on a particular computer. Subsequent installation and use must be in agreement with either Section B, Section C or Section D and not Section A.

During the Trial Period, you may seek support in the online forums provided via the FutureGlue website. You may send pre-sales questions via email. See the contact page on the intraVnews website for up to date information.

You may, without violating Section A of this Agreement:

a) Install intraVnews on any PC.

b) Uninstall and reinstall as many times as you like on one PC within the Trial Period.

c) Evaluate intraVnews simultaneously on more than one PC.

d) Evaluate intraVnews on one PC while using a different Licensing Mode on another PC.

e) Give exact copies of this version of intraVnews personally to friends and colleagues.

f) Distribute exact copies of this version of intraVnews, if done exclusively through electronic channels;

g) Make as many exact copies of this version of intraVnews as you wish, for purposes of distribution as described in (c), (d), (e) and (f) above.

Section B

This software is free for personal use and use within non-profit organizations including charities and academic institutions.

If you agree with the terms in Section B, you are using the software in the Personal Licensing Mode.

To use this software in the Personal mode, this software must be activated. To obtain an activation code, you can send a request via the intraVnews website. An activation code will be sent to you via email if you have provided the required registration information. Once activated, this software will be fully functional for unlimited time.

When using this software in the Personal mode, you may seek support in the online forums provided via the FutureGlue website. To qualify for email support, you can change to the Standard Licensing Mode by complying with section C.

You may, without violating Section B of this Agreement:

a) Install intraVnews on any PC.

b) Activate intraVnews as many times as you like on one PC using the same activation code.

c) Use intraVnews simultaneously on more than one PC using the same activation code.

d) Use intraVnews on one PC while using a different Licensing Mode on another PC.

e) Give exact copies of this version of intraVnews personally to friends and colleagues.

f) Distribute exact copies of this version of intraVnews, if done exclusively through electronic channels;

g) Make as many exact copies of this version of intraVnews as you wish, for purposes of distribution as described in (c), (d), (e) and (f) above.

Section C

This software is not free for use within a company of any size or a government organization.

If you agree with the terms in Section C, you are using the software in the Standard Licensing Mode.

To use this software in a company of any size or in a government organization, this software must be activated after 30 days of use after installation. To activate this software, an activation code must be purchased and fees must be paid to FutureGlue in Kramfors, Sweden. Please see the intraVnews web site for ordering information. When payment has been received your activation code will become valid and you can activate your copy of intraVnews.

Once an activation code has been purchased and this software has been activated, you are using this software in the Standard mode.

You may not use an activation code obtained via the method described in Section B in order to comply with Section C. The activation code that is purchased for use in a company or government organization should not be used on privately owned PCs. To use intraVnews on a privately owned PC, refer to Section B for compliance with this Agreement.

When using this software in the Standard mode, you qualify for priority support via email. FutureGlue staff will respond to emails in the order they are received and usually on the same day. You may also seek peer support in the online forums provided via the FutureGlue website.

You may, without violating Section C of this Agreement:

a) Install intraVnews on any PC.

b) Activate intraVnews as many times as you like on one PC using the same activation code.

c) Use intraVnews simultaneously on more than one PC using the same activation code.

d) Use intraVnews on one PC while using a different Licensing Mode on another PC.

e) Give exact copies of this version of intraVnews personally to friends and colleagues.

f) Distribute exact copies of this version of intraVnews, if done exclusively through electronic channels;

g) Make as many exact copies of this version of intraVnews as you wish, for purposes of distribution as described in (c), (d), (e) and (f) above.

Section D

This software is free if you agree with the terms in Section D.

Section D is automatically invoked when the Trial Period has expired and you have chosen not to uninstall this software.

If you agree with the terms in Section D, you are using the software in Limited Mode.

You can continue using this software without activating it and without needing to pay a fee to FutureGlue. You can continue using this software in Limited Mode for as long as you agree with the terms in Section D.

In Limited Mode, this software has reduced functionality. Some features are disabled and some features work differently. For a complete description of the reduced functionality in Limited Mode, you can refer to the intraVnews website or the Licensing dialog box in this software.

During the Trial Period, you may seek support in the online forums provided via the FutureGlue website and you may send pre-sales questions via email. See the contact page on the intraVnews website for up to date information.

You may, without violating Section D of this Agreement:

a) Use intraVnews on any PC past the Trial Period without activating the software.

b) Uninstall and reinstall as many times as you like on one PC.

c) Use intraVnews simultaneously on more than one PC.

d) Use intraVnews on one PC while using a different Licensing Mode on another PC.

e) Give exact copies of this version of intraVnews personally to friends and colleagues.

f) Distribute exact copies of this version of intraVnews, if done exclusively through electronic channels;

g) Make as many exact copies of this version of intraVnews as you wish, for purposes of distribution as described in (c), (d), (e) and (f) above.

Warranty Disclaimers and Liability Limitations

intraVnews, and any and all accompanying software, files, data and materials, are distributed and provided "AS IS" and with no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. In particular, there is no warranty for optional virus scanning feature(s). (FutureGlue does not scan for viruses; it relies on external programs to perform this function.) You acknowledge that good data processing procedure dictates that any program, including intraVnews, must be thoroughly tested with non-critical data before you rely on it, and you hereby assume the entire risk of using the program. This disclaimer of warranty constitutes an essential part of this License Agreement.

Any liability of FutureGlue will be limited exclusively to refund of purchase price, if any. In addition, in no event shall FutureGlue, or its principals, shareholders, officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, subsidiaries, or parent organizations, be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages whatsoever relating to the use of intraVnews, or to your relationship with FutureGlue.

In addition, in no event does FutureGlue authorize you to use intraVnews in applications or systems where intraVnews failure to perform can reasonably be expected to result in a significant physical injury, or in loss of life. Any such use by you is entirely at your own risk, and you agree to hold FutureGlue harmless from any and all claims or losses relating to such unauthorized use.

General

This License Agreement is the complete statement of the agreement between the parties on the subject matter, and merges and supersedes all other or prior understandings, purchase orders, agreements and arrangements. This License Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Swedish government. Exclusive jurisdiction and venue for all matters relating to this License Agreement shall be in courts and forums located in Sweden, and you consent to such jurisdiction and venue. There are no third party beneficiaries of any promises, obligations or representations made by FutureGlue herein. Any waiver by FutureGlue of any violation of this License Agreement by you shall not constitute or contribute to a waiver of any other or future violation by you of the same provision, or any other provision, of this License Agreement.
